Saturday 20th of September 2025 is the national Open Energy Day. Sustainable energyprojects throughout the Netherlands will open their doors for the public. The purpose? Showing people the world behind their sockets.
The Dutch Sustainable Energy Association (NVDE) is organising this day for the fourth year in a row, together with the industry associations NedZero, Holland Solar, Energie Samen, Bodemenergie, Geothermie Nederland and Vereniging Warmtepompen. With sustainable energy from our own soil, we are making the Netherlands less dependent on fossil fuels from abroad.
Open Energy Day in Oirschot
In the municipality of Oirschot, solar park Kriekampen has been connected to the electricity grid this year. This solar park will open its doors on the national Open Energy Day. We are therefore also organising the festive opening.
Practical information
Between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., we will be giving guided tours of the solar park, offering refreshments, and organising an opening ceremony in collaboration with the municipality. Admission is free. The first 30 visitors will receive a sustainable goodie bag with sustainable, local products.
There is limited parking around the solar park, so we kindly request that you come by bicycle or on foot. If you do come by car, please follow the instructions.
Address: De Kriekampen 2000, 5688 PS Oirschot.
